If it is generally universally accepted that cleaning up after yourself is a social norm, then why the f*ck is 90% of my time at work spent picking up stuff people dropped/knocked over?
I can understand if the service provided involves clean up, like eating in a restaurant, playing paintball, etc… But is it really THAT hard to come to a store to rent a movie without making a mess? At times, this place can look like a bunch of two year olds were given the order, “No, seriously, throw as much shit as you want.” Hell, I’ve seen more kids pick up crap they knock over than adults.
Sometimes I wish it was socially acceptable to punch people in the face.
Sorry. It’s been a busy and frustrating night. Give me an 18 hour day as a PA over 9 hours in retail any day.
