I really enjoyed Anonymous. It was a bit hard to follow at first, and definitely benefited from the second viewing I gave it. I don’t really have an opinion either way regarding the truth to the conspiracies (sort of like the whole Paul McCartney is dead conspiracy), so I judged it only on its merits on a film. It was very well written and acted. As a matter of fact, I’ve never really liked Rhys Ifans outside of his crazy supporting character roles he does well, but he was fantastic in this. I barely even recognized him.
