I like my parents. Everyone loves their parents in the way that families are supposed to love each other but a lot of people are always like “OMG I HATE MY PARENTS SO MUCH!”

I may not always like everything my parents do, but I would rather spend time around them than almost anyone I know, and I feel a little bad for people who have a bad relationship with their parents. I don’t know what I would do without mine.

Now, that is not me saying that everyone should have a relationship with their parents, because some people’s parents have done truly horrible things to them. But I can’t stand spoiled teenagers who are rude to their parents simply because they didn’t get them an iPhone for their birthday or whatever.

My parents are amazing. When people are like, “OMG, you still live with your parents?!”, I’m like, “FUCK YEAH!”

My parents rock. Why should I get an apartment with roommates I can’t stand just because I’m over 18? I live with my parents. We all get along quite well. I pay money for food and pay all of my bills. I don’t pay rent, but I clean, cook occasionally, take them out to dinner, and do general upkeep around the house. I’d much rather live with them than pretty much anyone else.
